Youth from around the world are flocking to gay communities looking for acceptance and love. Tragically, few are reaching out to them or even equipping the church to know how to minister to hurting and confused teens within youth groups. |

In response to the growing needs of youth participating in homosexuality, the Exodus Youth Network (EYN) was launched in 2006 as a component of Exodus Global Alliance’s international ministry. The EYN is calling the church and Exodus member ministries to reach out to gay youth and lead them to Christ. We have been developing new resources, strengthening existing ministries and encouraging Exodus regions to develop youth departments complete with staff and resources.
In the spring of 2008 a youth conference will be hosted during the Exodus Global Alliance international conference. Our international guests and speakers from around the Greater Toronto Area will be ministering to the youth attendees. We would like to make available a new resource called Thriving in Godliness and Masculinity. However, $750 is needed to cover unpaid printing costs.
Youth from six continents have been contacting the EYN looking for help, guidance and support. Many of them don’t have access to any or only a few resources and most of them have yet to make a decision to identify themselves as either gay or lesbian. They are confused, hurting and looking for hope.
The EYN is responding to inquiries from these youth. Furthermore, invitations to help the nations reach their youth are coming in.
The dilemma that young people face between trying to reconcile their strange feelings and strong emotions for the same sex or participate in homosexual practices that could endanger them is not restricted to North America or just western countries. Unfortunately, where you find neglected, rejected and/or abused children, there you will also find many people identifying themselves as gay or lesbian. This is a worldwide problem. Can you help them to come to know Christ and grow as men and women of God?
Please begin to pray for gays and lesbians. Befriend them and let them know who you are and who Christ is. Also pray for the EYN, as it is in the fast-growing infancy stage. And, if you can, please give financially to the EYN, to the cause of making disciples of gay and lesbian youth. At the moment, the costs of an emerging international ministry exceed our financial resources.
