What kinds of missions work is available?

Counselling: Many Exodus member ministries provide counselling services to people seeking freedom from homosexuality. If you have general counselling education and skills, you may be able apply these in a member ministry. Some further training may be needed to enable you to be an effective counsellor. If you have training and experience in the homosexuality, that's even better.

Support Group Leadership: Many Exodus member ministries provide support group services to people seeking freedom from homosexuality. If you have group leadership skills and some training in support groups, you may be able to apply these in setting up new support groups or leading existing support groups in a member ministry.

Outreach: A majority of the 155 million homosexuals around the world need to be reached by the Gospel. Exodus needs people who are called and gifted to reach out to homosexuals.

Starting New Ministries:  There are many places around the world where there is no help for people seeking freedom from homosexuality. People with the gifts and skills to start new ministries may work in their home country to start new ministries. There may also be opportunities to work in other countries and continents to start new ministries.

Ministry Management: Exodus ministries can not help people with just counsellors and support group leaders. They need ministry leadership and management. There is a place for servant-hearted Business Managers who can manage and direct ministry staff and work. There are opportunties for this at the local, regional and international level.

Administration: Just as Exodus ministries need people to direct and manage the ministry staff and work, they also they need administrative support who will provide bookkeeping, correspondence, newsletter design and writing, graphic design, recordskeeping and the many other functions that are needed to operate a ministry day-to-day. After all, how can people call for help if there is no one who answers the phone. Again, there are opportunities for this at the local, regional and international level for people with a variety of skills and gifts.

Ministry Development: Just as businesses need people who know how to grow and develop a business, mnistries need people who know how to grow and develop a ministry. Your gifts and skills in the area of growth and development can be used in Exodus Global Alliance.
