Many people around the world know that AIDS is a major struggle across much of Africa.

The secular world’s response to AIDS is to look for things that will slow the spread of AIDS, stop it from killing people while encouraging and enabling people to continue to pursue sexual freedom and whatever sexual lives they want to practice.

Christian organizations and churches can participate in the secular world’s response but they can do something that is even more effective – bring God’s truth and grace to the issue and to the people. The promotion of sexual freedom means that increasing numbers of children, teens and adults across Africa are struggling with and being hurt by actions promoted by sexual freedom including homosexuality. The damage includes broken families, wounded hearts, damaged lives, diseases such as AIDS, and death.

Exodus Global Alliance is working to help Christians and churches in Africa respond to the promotion of homosexuality and respond to people within their own churches who wish to live according to biblical norms and values but are struggling with homosexuality, lesbianism, or other kinds of fallen, damaged sexuality? Our help involves equipping Christians and churches to know and show the full truth and grace of Jesus Christ as it applies to one of the underlying roots of the AIDS crisis - sexuality.

Exodus Global Alliance has member ministries in Nigeria and Egypt, and is seeking for oportunities to encourage and particpate in ministry development in the many other countries across Africa.

What Can I Do?

Pray. God works through Exodus only when you pray. Exodus needs people who will pray for its ministry in Brazil. Will you send us a letter telling us that God has called you to pray?

Give. Exodus Global Alliance needs your financial support to gather and deploy people and resources in Africa. Your gifts can help Exodus Global Alliance work with churches and Christians in African countries so that they can redeem sexuality in their land, and they find a Christian alternative to the path of sexual freedom that the West has followed. Will you give as God directs you? More information about giving is available here.

Participate. Some Christians feel they cannot participate because they have never been a homosexual. As a result, Exodus works without the resources that many other Christian ministries have received. We need people to bring their gifts and talents in ministry service and ministry development to Exodus—the potential harvest is vast, the workers are few. God has no other plan than to work through the people He has called. Will you let God use your gifts and talents at Exodus?
